Ildikó Juhasz, Director of Cosmetic Medicine and CEO of the clinic, is widely recognized as one of the top cosmetic laser clinicians in all of Canada. She has treated over 20,000 patients in her 20+ year career. She is passionate about all aspects of cosmetic medicine. While her list of accolades is enviably long, she is a true artisan when it comes to individualizing the best procedures with the optimal skin care regimens for her clients. She does so with her characteristic boundless energy and European flair. Revoderm Pharma, Ildikó’s brainchild, was started with Dr Alanen in 2011 and continues to grow on a local, national and international level – a true testament to her expertise.
Dr. Ken Alanen
Dr. Ken Alanen is a triple certified dermatologist, dermatopathologist and laboratory medicine specialist. He is also credentialled for providing Mohs’ micrographic surgery and has performed over 10,000 skin cancer surgeries in his career. No other dermatologist in Canada has this recognized skillset. Dr Alanen does neuromodulator and filler injections in the clinic as well as subscision for acne scars, cosmetic mole removal as well as“lump and bump” removal. His interests also include telemedicine (having one of Canada’s busiest services – teledermatology.ca. He has recently launched acne.ca – the first Canada wide service for expert subspecialty acne care).
Education
Education is where it all begins; we are true consultants, having had many years of formal training and experience. Between them, Dr. Alanen and CEO Ildiko Juhasz have 25 years of formal training. Each of us has been in the world of dermatology for over twenty years. We share our knowledge with patients, colleagues and trainees. The clinic has seen over 120,000 patients since opening in September 2008. We have removed over 20,000 skin cancers (via Mohs’ micrographic surgery and conventional techniques). We have treated over 25,000 cosmetic patients.

Ildiko is guided by the mindset of “never over-promise or under-deliver”. She believes in “before and after” pictures. Her results speak for themselves. She proves this with cutting edge skin imaging and skin analysis technology. Dr Alanen shares this belief system – be it when removing a skin cancer, doing an online visit and seeing cases under the microscope.
